Apurva A. Thekdi, M.D.

Apurva A. Thekdi, M.D., joined Texas Ear, Nose & Throat Consultants, PLLC in April of 2008. Following completion of his medical education at Washington University in St. Louis, Dr. Thekdi continued his training at St. Louis University where he completed a general surgery internship. He undertook his otolaryngology residency training at the State University of New York and completed his residency training at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Thekdi continued his training at the University of Pittsburgh where he completed a fellowship in Laryngology and Care of the Professional Voice in 2003.

Dr. Thekdi is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is a member in good standing of the Texas Medical Association and the Harris County Medical Society. He is seeking appointments as a clinical assistant professor on the faculty of Baylor College of Medicine, Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

n addition to medical and surgical care of the voice, Dr. Thekdi has advanced training in the treatment of swallowing disorders and takes particular interest in treating this group of patients.
